Cranes Over Wisconsin In-Person
Join the International Crane Foundation to explore the history of Wisconsin's Sandhill and Whooping Cranes and learn how you can help protect their future. Once near extinction due to hunting and habitat loss, Sandhill Cranes have rebounded, while endangered Whooping Cranes are slowly recovering. Despite progress, both species still face ongoing threats in Wisconsin and along their migratory flyways. This Zoom presentation is provided by UW-Stevens Point Continuing Education and Outreach LIFE (Learning Is ForEver) program.
