McMillan Adult Book Club - The Day the World Came to Town In-Person

Copies of each read will be available at the Service desk. Books are on a first come, first serve basis although we make every effort to select books that are readily available in the South Central Library System. Ebooks and audiobooks are also available from Wisconsin's Digital Library / the Libby app. This month we'll be reading The Day the World Came to Town by Jim DeFede.
The author shares the experiences of the citizens of Gander, Newfoundland, who were hosts to the more than six thousand passengers of thirty-eight U.S.-bound jetliners forced to land there in the wake of the September 11th attacks.
